Study stays abroad

From 1960 to 1962 he trained at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA. In Philadelphia he worked with neurologist Solomon D. Erulkar and neurosurgeon Peter Jannetta, and the results of their collaboration were published in the Journal of Neurophysiology in 1966. In 1967 he was invited by the French government to work in France, after which he went to Denmark and Sweden. Furthermore, he continued his work in England and West Germany in 1971 through the World Health Organization funding, and in 1972 he returned to France.
